Life Can Be a Witch Sometimes

Our days can feel not quite fair & we wake up pondering the question, “why me?” But I’m here to tell you, you aren’t alone. It’s just that way sometimes. There has to be a balance of good & bad times because if not, we wouldn’t appreciate those highlights. Or maybe I just sound like a cliche inspirational quote & admit life can be a complete witch sometimes [ see what i did there?]. Here are a few reminds to consider on those particularly bad days:

It Won’t Be Like This Forever

When you are going through tough times, it does feel like the situation could last forever & the ending isn’t in sight. Almost like you are frozen in time in a sense. But it’s important to remember, there WILL be a light at the end of the tunnel. Even if it takes some time, life never stays one way constantly. You can always discover the silver lining.

You Are Stronger Than You Think

The universe or God doesn’t put you in situations just for the heck of it. There is always some greater reason even if the answer is rather unknown at first. I know from personal experience, any time I go through something so difficult, I will come out a different person. I know I’ll be stronger, wiser & will see life with more appreciation.

This isn’t Unique To Your Story

Comparison is the thief of joy. And there are moments where you feel like bad things only happen to you & everyone else has a charmed life. This is definitely not the case. Social media & technology can fog your perspective. Remind yourself that everyone has had those rock bottom moments & find comfort in the fact that being human means we all have our own stories.

  1. First of all, I love it. Witch please! Haha.

This was such a wonderfully comforting and great post. I’ve always seen myself as quite good at not comparing myself to others and feeling down when it comes to social media, but I must say in this past year that’s really somewhat unconsciously flipped and left me feeling very self-conscious and not enjoying social media as much at all. It’s really good to be reminded of all these points, especially when your perspective is more fogged than you think. I’m still going to feel like a boob compared to the rest of the world today but subconsciously I think this post and these words will really help. ❤

  3. I see what you did with the title there, LOVE IT! This is so true. Life can be a “witch” at times but you just have to learn how to get over it. It is hard to think positive sometimes, but we have to. We have to get past our feelings and be more optimistic.

I am loving your blogtober posts. You are doing so great. Keep it up! 😀
