Blogmas Day 3: Holly Jolly Tag

Welcome to Day 3 of Blogmas. Today’s post is a fun little tag of holiday questions. Feel free to join in on the fun & post your versions as well. I’d love to read them! Let’s get into the questions:

What is your favorite holiday movie? 🍿

My favorite holiday movie hands down is The Grinch ( Jim Carey version). I love the story & I can quote most of it by now. What’s your favorite quote from the movie?

What is your favorite Christmas color?

Red β™₯️ Not to sound conceded but I’ve always found red to be flattering on me. And I love the brightness the color gives off.

Do you like to stay in your PJs or dress up for Christmas?

Both! My boyfriend & I made it a tradition to wear matching pajamas at breakfast. I usually dress up in the evening though. This photo is from last year.

If you could only buy one person a present this year, who would it be?

this is a tough one, but I’d have to say my mom because she provides so much for little in return.

Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?

Both! I grew up opening presents on Christmas Eve at my Nana’s & Christmas morning we would open them at my house where I grew up. Now, we usually open presents both days with both my family & my boyfriend’s family at some point throughout the day.

Have you ever build a gingerbread house?

Yes! It’s a lot of work but really fun! This is ours from last year!

What do you like to do on your Christmas break?

Spend time with family or going on vacation would be cool. I’ve always wanted to go to Disney World at Christmas. But not this year. I feel like this year we will keep it pretty casual. I would love it if we got snowed in.

Any Christmas wishes?

For the pandemic to end of course. But I’m really hoping for a blizzard this year.

Favorite Christmas smell?

Pine, cinnamon & the smell of a crisp snow

Favorite Christmas meal or treat?

Sugar cookies or my Nana’s chocolate chip cookies (which I successfully made this year)

Which holiday do you celebrate?

Christmas πŸŽ„

What are you doing for the holidays this year?

Spending time with family (in a safe way)

What’s your favorite holiday drink?

Hot chocolate

Candy cane or gingerbread men?

Candy canes

What’s your favorite holiday/Christmas song?

Carol of the Bells (It’s just so manic hahaha)

What’s the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?

This faux fur scarf with Pom poms on them. A bit of a style stretch for me.

Have you ever made a snowman?

Of course!

What is your favourite winter fragrance?

Dream Angels Heavenly – Victoria Secret

What is at the top of your list this Christmas? (or whichever holiday you celebrate!)

I’d kind of like a record player. I just think they are so cool & I saw The Peanuts Christmas viynl at Target & needed it in my life.

What is most important to you about the holidays?

Spending time with my family, friends & boyfriend & making countless memories. I love the leading up to Christmas festivities like shopping with my mom, eating at restaurants that are decorated for Christmas & watching Christmas movies.

  3. I love The Grinch too! I’ve never built a gingerbread house before, but I saw a gingerbread village kit at Walmart and thought it would be cute to try it this year. Definitely don’t think I’ll be able to make mines as cute as yours though lol. And you’re right about carol of the bells for sure (says the girl who had to sing it in chorus)!
