Questions Camille Would Like to Know:
What is your favorite book & why?
My favorite book is The Path Made Clear by Oprah Winfrey. The reason it holds a special place in my heart was discussed in my post called What Truly Makes You Happy?. But in short, it opened my eyes to my true potential & was a great self help book when I was feeling most lost.
What is your favorite movie & why?
This is always a tough question, but I would have to say my favorite movie is When Harry Met Sally. I love old classic movies & Meg Ryan is a wonderful actress. The story of love & seeing how love comes back to you when it is meant to be makes my hopeless romantic self so happy.
What are you passionate about & why is this so important to you?
Writing for sure. I’ve always had a passion for it ever since I was very young. It’s something that seriously just comes naturally to me. And it’s important to me because it’s what makes me unique. I suppressed this talent for so long & I’m happy to finally be expressing it.
What is your favorite time of the day & why?
I am such a night owl. I love evening to late at night. I thrive at night time for some reason. I love this time of day because it’s when I come up with so many ideas for my writing.
What is your favorite smell?
The smell of the salty, ocean breeze.
Why did you start blogging?
Writing has always been something I loved & I wanted to share my thoughts with the world. Plus, I was really bored during quarantine.
In what piece of clothing do you feel instantly beautiful?
This maxi dress from Nordstrom. I always feel my best when I am wearing it.
What is your favorite season & why?
Summer & Spooky Season. When Halloween is over, it can just jump back to summer time. I love going to the beach & the warm weather. And I’ve always loved Halloween. I think it’s because when I was a child, my mom would throw me the best Halloween parties / sleepovers with all my friends. We would do fun crafts like paint pumpkins, have dance parties, bob for apples & watch Hocus Pocus & Double Double Toil & Trouble.
In what country would you like to live? Why?
I like where I live now, The U.S. but I also think Australia would be cool because of the accents.
What is the most important quality a person can have according to you?
A kind heart. I think there’s a lot of cruelty in this world, so when you meet a nice human, hold on to them.
What would be your best advice to your younger self?
Stop worrying about the future. Things happen when they are supposed to happen as they should. Sometimes in the thick of it all we are so confused & question the direction of life. But through everything I’ve gone through so far, it has always brought me to a brighter spot.
